2003 Windsurfing Trade Show Highlights

What a great trade show. 2003 will be the best year ever for windsurfing. I took some pictures of people and gear. Have a look
and lets get sailing.

Exocet Cruiser was a surprise seller this year, it will be available in three sizes for '03 - 115L, 150L and 205L
Hi Fly boards ROCK. They had a killer booth with a huge display. The MOVE will be hot seller again in 03
Svein Rasmussen of Starboard is the most enthusiastic windsurfer I have ever met. He loves to windsurf and NOTHING will ever stop him from
spreading the word. Here he is checking on his new kids board, my 9 yr old son really liked the way this little board sailed. Here Kaylen is trying
to stay ahead of Alf. Here is the new START.
On Monday Barry Spaneier helped my son Kaylen rig his Gaastra sail during the demo days at Calema. On Tuesday Barry flew to Sylt to help Kevin Pritchard destroy the fleet on his Nitro 3. When the gun went off, Pritchard never looked back. He handed it to all challengers with a 17 second lead at the
weather mark, which he stretched to 33 seconds at the downwind mark. By the time he got back up to the top mark, he was 42 seconds ahead of 2nd place Michael Polonowski, who was followed closely by Jimmy Diaz and Antoine Albeau in fourth.
AHD has a new light wind board called the ZEN. Super stable and easy to sail.
Steve Roan is now director of Hookipa Sports Marketing. He has partnered with Anders Bringdal to bring the A+B Boards to the market.
