McTavish Fireball Surfboard

Originally designed for Gareth Donovan when he won the 1995 Australian Longboard Title at famous Bell's Beach, the FIREBALL has gone from strength to strength, becoming the benchmark Longboard across the world. Easy wave catching, fast acceleration with the most natural feeling turns are just the beginning. Step forward to the mid-trim zone, and the FIREBALL simply speeds down the line. Two more steps and you're on the FIREBALL'S wide nose, just walking on water with no visible means of support! Comfortable, predictable, natural. The best Longboard going!

9'1" - $795
9'3" - $795
9'6" - $845

McTavish Eightball Surfboard

A revved-up longboard, the EIGHTBALL is a reduced Fireball, supplying great paddling, easy speed and turning, and fast trimming, and even a sneaky noseride here and there. You need to treat the EIGHTBALL like a longboard, that is, walking forward, gaining a world of glide and trim that are the trademarks of longboards. Just covering acres of water easily. But it's reduced length means you can zap it, whack it, and punch the lip in a series of linked turns if you wish, something that 9 foot boards just find hard to do. The EIGHTBALL: revved-up longboarding at it's best!

8'1" - $695
8'6" - $779

McTavish Carver Surfboard

The CARVER is actually a shortboard with added wave-catching and comfort zones grafted on! It's engine is a stiff-rockered zone with double-concaves right under your feet in a turn, and the front fins pulled right up under your back foot, supplying speed, acceleration, looseness and comfort all from the one generous sweet-spot. The front section is light and beveled, giving that real shortboard feel, yet enabling fast easy paddling. The ideal design! Just surf it like a shortboard, but with a massive wave-count.

8'1" - $695

McTavish Girls Surfboard

Have you noticed Girls look different to guys? Well hello! They surf different too! Generally, girls' feet are smaller. Their ability to apply power is reduced. Their movements are far more graceful.. naturally! So we adjust our shapes accordingly. Out go the tail concaves. The fins move in off the rails more. The shapes are a little narrower. Our GIRLS team riders have given us this feed-back for years. The Result? The GIRLS MODEL is a fluid, smooth reacting board that enhances the natural beauty of girls in the surf.

8'1" - $695
9'1" - $795

McTavish Twin Fin Surfboard

The small-wave Fanger that flies and swoops, and feels like surfing on ball-bearings. Part retro, part ultra modern, the shortboard for surfers who don't want to "swim" their board around the break, half submerged. McTavish Surfboards had a wildly successful "Sky" Design in the late 70's, a beautiful "Twin-fin-plus-Trailer-fin-Option" going that was the fore-runner of the Thruster. Today, we've modified it a little with a wider tail, to give it the get-up-and-go of a small Fish design, but with the versatility of a Thruster.

6'4" - $555
