John Contos - VA Beach, VA

Worldsails 5.0,5.7,7.0 Surge & 7.5 Blast I've been very impressed with the 04'&05' line of the Worldsails. Great for Hatteras surf and sound. Very stable and lots of life. I race longboard all the way to formula and these sails rock. They don't make a formula sail yet, but they work well on all wide freeride boards today. They do take a beaten and keep on shining. Spread the word. VA-13
Peter Kimball - Dennis, MA 05 - Worldsails Surge 3.7, 4.2, 4.7, 5.2m The Surge 05 rocks.  Definitely a leap above last years sails.  Very slippery feel.  Easy to power and de-power in the waves.  They do need a good amount of down haul and very slight out haul for the settings seems to be best.

Paul Davis - MA
Worldsails Quiver I have a quiver of Worldsails with the 6.2m being my workhorse in 18-25mph.  I sail this sail 75% of the time and it has held up excellent.

Jeremiah - Wayland, MA
Worldsails 3.7m T-Wave

Worldsails 6.7m Blast

The 3.7m T-Wave is a really light sail. It is really good for windy conditions, wave, and bump and jump. The Blast is a very light freeride sail. It is powerful, but not too powerful.  I use it for racing.

Tim Flynn - Pocasset, MA
Worldsails 5.6m

Worldsails 4..7m

Easy rigging, good wind range, steady power and well built.

Tom Blatterman - Duxbury, MA
Worldsails 4.7m

Worldsails 6.1m

The 4.7m is really smooth, easy to jybe and quick to accelerate.  The 6.1m has ample power and is easy to rig.  These sails are great.

John McInerney Jr. - Weymouth, MA
Worldsail 5.2m Good high wind sails! Easy to rig and handles very well in overpowering winds.

Dan Healy - Wareham, MA
Worldsail Quiver Worldsails I bought them all - GREAT.
Larry Spence - Centerville, MA Worldsails Surge
3.2m, 3.7m, 4.2m, 4.7m, 5.2m, 5.7m
Sails are very stable and adjust to conditions well with extra downhaul and outhaul. I'm 5'8" - 148lbs and can be sailing  my 5.2m in 18-22mph, when the wind picks up to 25-30mph I'm still hanging on after giving the sails some extra down & outhaul. Great sails! Great Range!

Ed Runci - Duxbury, MA
Worldsails Surge
3.2m, 3.7m, 4.2m, 4.7m, 5.2m, 5.7m, 6.2m
Great Sails! Very good range, especially top end. I've sailed lots of wave sails, Worlds are among the best!!!
Arnold Roest - Duxbury, MA Worldsail 3.6, 4.2, 4.7 and 5.2 Bomber
5.7 Surge

Worldsail 7.5 T2 (now Blast)

Awesome sail, can't say enough about it.  Very powerful, fast, and extremely fun slalom sail with race sail performance and wave sail handling.  I have owned at least 6 other brand sails in the 7.5 range, and the T2 is by far the most fun, most powerful, and easiest to rig.

The Bombers rule!  My Bombers have been seriously abused for over 4 years and are in very good condition, I can't destroy them.  Too bad for Sailworld, now I know why they don't make them anymore.  The Bombers have no monofilm and have not lost their shape.

The Surge does it all, its powerful, fast, light, and handles like a dream.

Antoine Beau - Boston, MA Bomber 3.7m
Surge 4.2m and Surge 5.2m
I have been on Worldsails for the last 4 years and I can't say enough good things about them. They are not only the easiest Sails to gybe that I have ever owned but they are so tough that I have no worries when I go for big back Loops ( or at least try ).
Good low end power with awesome stability in the gusts is what I have come to expect from all the Worldsails I have owned and that's key in the NorthEast where the wind can be so fluky.

George Babcock - Needham, MA
Worldsail 8.5m GREAT LOW END PULL FOR LIGHT WIND DAYS WITH EXCELLENT CONTROL AS THE WIND INCREASES.
Jim Canniff - Centerville, MA Worldsail 4.2 and 4.7 Surge The 4.2 and 4.7 Surge sails are definitely the best wavesails I've ever owned. Both are solid sails, very durable. They have huge range. I used the 4.2 at Chappy last fall on a NW day when it was gusting over 50 mph and felt very much in control. These sails are very tunable, just add downhaul to get that lively feel. The 4.7 is definitely my favorite sail. Like the 4.2 it has tons of range and can easily be rigged to that dialed-in spot. And it spins very well, a virtual looping machine! I'm very impressed with these sails and look forward to getting the 2003 versions.
Tom Mangiaratti - Barrington, RI Worldsail 7.5m & 6.1m Blast These sails are the best I've ever owned.

Patrick Devitt - Kingston, MA
Worldsails: Blast 9.5m, 7.5m, 6.1m & Surge 5.2m Easy to rig. Easy to tune across a wide wind range. Great top end speed. I'm 6'2" - 220lbs and rig bigger than most to sail fully powered. When the wind picks up I re-tune these sails and stay in control. I usually switch down in board size before I have to rig down.

Jamey Clarke US 207 - Quincy, MA
Worldsail T2 8.5; Surge 6.2, 5.7, 5.2  4.2, 3.2 Excellent Performance + High Durability + Superb Customer Service =   GREAT SAILS!

Performance:
Worldsails have amazing performance and huge range.  I love sailing on a sail which can work well in such a wide range of wind speeds.  Each of the past two Christmas's, I have gone on windsurfing vacations with my whole family.  Each time, I have mourned not having Worldsails in spite of having heaps of fancy rental gear to choose from.

Durability:
I windsurf more often than I probably should.  It is a pain to try and stay gainfully employed while still getting on the water enough.  Honestly, it is nice to have a sail I know can take the abuse I dish out: rigging/ de-rigging in the parking lot, crunched in the back of the van, getting churned through the rinse cycle at Green Harbor on a big, nasty North East day.  The Surge doesn't seem to mind any of this stuff.

Customer Service:
For me, this is an absolutely pivotal factor.  The customer service and support I have gotten whenever dealing with Sailworld has been uniquely superb.  Jim and Pam and the rest of the crew foster a positive, home grown atmosphere.  They combine this with a low pressure, no BS sales approach.  The result is that whenever I need windsurfing sails, or any windsurfing gear, the first place I want to go is Sailworld.

Nancy Liu - Quincy, MA
Worldsail 5.7, 5.2, 4.2, 3.2 So much windsurfing to do, so little time.  If it's blowin', the last thing I want to do is tweak and re-tweak my sail in pursuit of perfect sail shape.  Worldsails are easy to rig WELL.  The majority of my beginning windsurfing days were on Worldsails.  Excellent durability to help me through those catapulting sessions.   Most recently, Worldsail 3.2 in  very high 30s/low 40s (Nov 30, Canadian Hole) -  a solid, controllable sail.

Bradley Louw - Sutton, MA
Worldsail 5.5m GREAT performance, GREAT customer service.

5.5 surge 2005 (only sail I really need handles everything)

This sail has a amazing performance and great range when it came to over powered conditions. I started sailing the surge 2005 ,5.5  in about 18 knots really stable only had a bit of downhaul then the wind picked up to around 30ish just flattened the sail and it was not too over powering and VERY stable. Another thing was how easy it got me planning in the lighter conditions crucial for us freestylers but don’t worry it is a nasty wave sail and you don’t sacrifice durability for weight cause this sail is BOMB proof and sooo light.

Customer service- The whole Sailworld team is really reflecting what windsurfing is about friendly people/ sport  with  no bs because all windsurfers just want to get onto the water with reliable gear. And that’s what Sailworld brings to you!

Wayne Dills - Sherborn, MA
Worldsail Bombers I've owned these sails for years. You can buy a bigger name but not a better sail. I've sailed them in Hatteras, Maui, Cape Cod etc. in mostly wave conditions. These sails are the Shite! Wayno
Stu Saffer - Pleasantville, NY Worldsail 6.7, 5.7, 4.7, 4.2 These sails are great.  They have been the best quiver that I've ever owned.  They are easier to rig & tune than those I've had in the past.

The 6.7 is my mainstay and it has the widest range of any sail around.  I set it up in 17 knots and sail it until I can't hold on any more (usually around 25 knots).  It is quick to de-power and allows me to sail more and rig less.

Peter Kimball - Dennis, MA
Worldsail 5.2, 4.7, 4.2m

Just got the 03 Surge 5.2, 4.7 and 4.2.

I have been a long time Sailworld customer and used Worldsails from the first World  Wave, T wave, Surge and Now the 03 Surge.

All have been great performers in the wide range of conditions we have on Cape Cod.  I sail in a variety of conditions, flat water freestyle at West Dennis to gnarly surf at Bayview and Corporation, and clean waves at the Cut.  The Surge generation of sails handle it all.  I had a few runs on the 03 Surge 4.7 and already know that this generation has built on the last.  Easy to rig, nice power range, light weight, numerous small improvements for durability.

Jim and Pam are great to work with.  Always friendly, willing to offer advice and focused on customer service.
